  16. Mike Loader announced in c.s.a.applications a few weeks ago that beta
  17. versions of 3.0i will be given out on request.  Sign on to the SL BBS in
  18. St. Louis (314-256-8971 or telnet slpc.com (I think that's the name) and
  19. send E-mail to Mike Loader asking for a beta.  After a few days he
  20. E-mailed me the first beta and then has followed up automatically with the
  21. second and third betas as they were released.

  23. Warning:  be sure to save your old 3.0h executable, because it's been 
  24. reported here that the patch program for the "real" 3.0i will not work on 
  25. the beta 3.0i releases.
